General Members consist of organizations that are directly participating in OCCAID. Additionally, partners and sponsors are automatically granted with general membership status.

Associate Members are those who have been sponsored at free of charge through OCCAID's community services and initiatives, such as the GIPS program. An existing general member or a partner may endorse a third party for an associate membership, free of membership fees. When endorsed, the Community Program Committee will review the merit and purpose of the prospective associate member for connecting to OCCAID network. Upon approval of the associate membership status, the sponsored organization may connect to OCCAID's backbone network for R&D and IPv6 internet services.
